POLLANDO Chair:<\/p>\n
Prof. El\u017cbieta Awramiuk, Ph.D., University of Bialystok<\/strong><\/span> \u2013 employed at the Institute of Polish Philology; specializes in linguistics and applied linguistics. Her academic interests include Polish grammar, spelling , and the methodology of language teaching. She organized such events as Polish dictations in Latvia, and is a member of IAIMTE (International Association for the Improvement of Mother Tongue Education) and editorial team of L1 \u2013 Educational Studies in Language and Literature (see http:\/\/www.l1research.org\/<\/span>). She has participated in a number of seminars, conferences, and international workshops in Hungary (Pesc), Lithuania (Vilnius), Great Britain (Cambridge), Germany (Mainz, Hildesheim), France (Albi, Paris) , and Czech Republic (Prague).\u00a0 In the years 2008-2012, she was the University of Bia\u0142ystok Vice-Rector for Students and Teaching\u00a0 Affairs.<\/p>\n POLLANDO teachers have experience working with international and multicultural groups, who are fluent in at least one foreign language.<\/p>\n Ewa Nofikow, Ph.D.<\/strong><\/span> – employed at the Institute of Polish Philology, specializes in literary and cultural studies. She is an editorial assistant of the journal \u201cBia\u0142ostockie Studia Literaturoznawcze\u201d (Bialystok Literary Studies), and a supervisor of the Academic Student Society at the Polish Faculty. She completed post-graduate studies in teaching Polish as a foreign language course (Glottodydaktyka polonistyczna. Nauczanie j\u0119zyka polskiego jako obcego) in the Centre of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners\u00a0 \u201cPolonicum\u201d at the University of Warsaw. As a lecturer she cooperated with the Foundation for Education and Creativity (EVS projects), and in the academic year 2013-2014 she lectured at the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, Russia. Under the Erasmus exchange program she also taught at the University of Latvia, Riga.<\/p>\n –<\/p>\n Konrad Szamryk,\u00a0Ph.D.<\/strong><\/strong><\/span> \u2013 graduated in Polish Philology from the University of Bialystok, and completed post-graduate studies in teaching Polish as a foreign language course (Glottodydaktyka polonistyczna. Nauczanie j\u0119zyka polskiego jako obcego) in the Centre of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners\u00a0 \u201cPolonicum\u201d at the University of Warsaw. In 2007, as part of the Socrates-Erasmus exchange program he studied at Daugavpils University, Latvia. In the years 2010-2013 he worked as a Polish language lecturer in the Foundation for Education and Creativity (EVS projects). He also taught Polish to foreigners in Daugavpils, Riga, and Barcelona. Since 2011 he has taught Polish language courses to American students from Michigan State University at the Summer Comparative School of American and European Law, Faculty of Law, University of Bialystok. He has coopered with the regional division of \u201cWsp\u00f3lnota Polska\u201d society, and completed internships in Vienna, Vilnius, and Barcelona.<\/p>\n –<\/p>\n Katarzyna Szostak-Kr\u00f3l, Ph.D.<\/strong><\/span> – graduated in Polish Philology from the University of Bialystok, and received a diploma in linguistics at the Institute of Slavic Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences. She teaches Polish at a primary school.\u00a0 Her academic interests cover such areas as regional and dialect varieties of the\u00a0 Polish language, literary styles, and intercultural education.\u00a0 She has organized numerous courses, projects, competitions in intercultural education, and authored many educational programmes, e.g.\u00a0 regional contest \u201cDiversity Creates the Sphere for Dialogue\u201d. In 2012, her international education activities were awarded the first prize by World Organization for Early Childhood Education (OMEP).\u00a0 Since 2006 she has taught Polish as a second language at the Caritas Immigrant and Refugee Aid Centre, Foundation for Education and Creativity in Bialystok, immigrant centers in Bialystok.<\/p>\n –<\/p>\n Anna Duniewska, M.A.<\/strong><\/span> – graduated in Polish Philology from the University of Bialystok, and completed post-graduate studies in teaching Polish as a foreign language course (Glottodydaktyka polonistyczna. Nauczanie j\u0119zyka polskiego jako obcego) in the Centre of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners\u00a0 \u201cPolonicum\u201d at the University of Warsaw. She teaches Polish at a primary school (also to foreigners). In 2008, as part of Socrates-Erasmus program she studied in Daugavpils, Latvia. In the years 2009-2010, as part of the Comenius Assistantship program, she worked as an English teacher\u2019s assistant at a Greek school, where she also taught Polish; and in 2011-2013 she taught Polish language course at Foundation for Education and Creativity (EVS projects).<\/p>\n Ma\u0142gorzata Januszko, M.A.<\/b> <\/span>\u2013 an English studies graduate of Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna\u0144, Poland. She also completed post-graduate studies in teaching Polish as a foreign language (Glottodydaktyka polonistyczna. Nauczanie j\u0119zyka polskiego jako obcego) at the Centre for Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners \u201cPolonicum\u201d at the University of Warsaw. Since 2004 she has been working as an English teacher at the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Bia\u0142ystok.
